Sometimes God’s ‘no’ is really a ‘not yet,’ or at the very least, a ‘not this way.’ Keeping God’s way doesn’t just demonstrate our love to Him through obedience, it also preserves and refreshes us. God’s plan is perfect if we follow Him.

We never have to do life alone when God is in the picture. He wants to direct our steps and will — if we’re willing to let Him have His way. The psalmist David understood the power of our human weakness, sin, while also recognizing God’s hand and plan over it.
Being A Doer, Not Just A Listener
Imagine that; looking at yourself in the mirror only to leave and immediately forget what you looked like. And not just forget what you were wearing or how you were styled, but forgetting your face, and forgetting who you are. When we pull away from God to do our own thing, we forget who we are.
