Christians and Profanity (What the $%&!)

Are all words relative or neutral in meaning? Does the standard of our word choice always come down to intent or only what we’re personally convicted by?

John 1.1-2 says that from the beginning, there was the Word and the Word was God. Ultimately, it’s God that puts a premium on words and He’s got much to say about how we live our lives. That also includes how we exercise the power and choice of our words.

Our words matter to God and they should matter to us.

When it comes to the sin that destroys our lives, it’s our job to repent. And God’s promise to save us. There’s never enough good karma to save or make us “good enough” because we’ll never be good enough on our own. But God is good, and more than enough!

Provision For Purpose

God always assigns provision for the purpose(s) that He’s destined for us. We exist for His pleasure. God is always for our success but our picture of success shouldn’t contrast His. He will never allow us to live a life that doesn’t need Him.
